The excavation of the Esenyurt-Bahçeşehir-Mahmutbey Subway Line, which continues without any interruption in construction work, starts in April 2018. The opening is expected to be in 2020.
Tunnelling machines were ordered. Esenyurt-Bahçeşehir-Mahmutbey Metro Line areas have been decided two months ago. The opening was set at 2020. The line will be 18.50 kilometres long and will carry 70,000 people in one direction.
Makyol-İçtaş companies paying 3 billion 49 million 994 thousand 729 TL for the progeny of the contract. Metro Line Mahmutbey Station, Otogar-Bağcılar Kirazlı and Basaksehir-Olimpiyat Metro Line will merge.
Metro stops; Mahmutbey-Region Park-Mehmet Akif-Toplu Housing-Theme-Hospital-Tahtakale-Ispartakule-Bahçeşehir-Esenkent- Ardıçlı-Esenyurt Square.
