The government signed two important decisions to support and keep the real estate industry alive. With the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette on Saturday, there has been a reduction in title deed and VAT.
The said arrangements shall be made in accordance with the provisional Article 30 of the Tax Procedure Law No 213 and the Temporary Article 39 of the Value Added Tax Law No. 3065 in the scope of the first paragraph of the 23rd Article of the Income Tax Law No 193 and within the scope of the Article 16 of the Income Tax Law, Determination of Machinery and Equipment to be Acquired for Use in Manufacturing Industry Exclusively for Taxpayers with Entry and Industry Registration Documents, Re-Determination of Mortarage to be Taken from Certain Title Deed Transactions, Value Added Tax Rates of Some Goods and Determination of Reassessment of Special Consumption Tax Amounts. In the 5th article of the decision, the title deed discount was given and in the 6th article, the principles of discounting the VAT were given.
Regulations that will give life to the sector make the face of the buyer of the real estate salesman smile. Sector representatives also stated that the year of implementation will accelerate this year as well.
Who will benefit from the title deed discount?
1 – Title deed fees fell from 20 in 1000 to 15 in 1000.
2- Housing and workplaces were included only within the scope of the reduction of the land tax.
3- Houses with floor easements were also included in the application for land tax reduction.
4- The deed will be valid until October 31, 2018 (including this date) with the decision taken on the application of discounts.
Who will benefit from the KDV ( VAT ) discount, how will it benefit?
1- The VAT rate on the delivery of large houses of 150 square meters fell to 8 percent.
2- At the delivery of large houses of 150 square meters, 18 percent VAT was received.
3- The VAT reduction to be applied for the delivery of large houses of 150 square meters will be applied until October 31, 2018 (including this date).
